Ruth Paxton’s Pulse a short commissioned via the New Music Biennal / Commonwealth Games by the Royal Philharmonic Society and produced in association with Edge City Films, will have its World Premiere when it opens the Glasgow Short Film Festival on 13th February 2014.

The film was shot in the iconic Grand Central Hotel Glasgow, by the River Clyde and in Glasgow’s Western Baths, and features a score by Grammy nominated composer Dobrinka Tabakova. The film was produced by Rosie Crerar who previously worked with Ruth Paxton on the award-winning Digicult short Paris/Sexy.
