Ruth Paxton’s Pulse a short commissioned via the New Music Biennal / Commonwealth Games by the Royal Philharmonic Society and produced in association with Edge City Films, will have its World Premiere when it opens the Glasgow Short Film Festival on 13^th February 2014.

The film was shot in the iconic Grand Central Hotel Glasgow, by the River Clyde and in Glasgow’s Western Baths, and features a score by Grammy nominated composer Dobrinka Tabakova. The film was produced by Rosie Crerar who previously worked with Ruth Paxton on the award-winning Digicult short Paris/Sexy.
